Background
Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunications from ITIS Aldini Valeriani, Bologna.
For 12 years I have worked in a precision machine shop near Bologna, on 5-axis machining centers with Siemens Sinumerik 840D and Heidenhain controls. I program CAM in Cimatron.
Since 2020 I have built the tools the shop was missing: job and pallet tracking, tool life, maintenance, machine connectivity. They are in daily use.

How I work
I start from the part and the machine, not from the technology. If something cannot be checked on the shop floor, I do not promise it.
I write notes and documentation for whoever comes next: a system only its author understands is of no use to the company.
